LLOYD GIRMAN
For more than three decades, Lloyd has worked in the public and private sectors. From cabinet secretary to deputy minister to senior vice president of one of the world’s largest engineering companies. From energy to highways, and diamonds to construction, he’s handled all sorts of files—in all sorts of places. This diversity of experience has given him a unique ability to bring people together and find win-win solutions. His involvement in Canada‘s north and his work with first nations communities give him a unique perspective on the rapidly changing northern economy.

IAN ROSS
With a 30-year track record, Ian Ross excels globally in portfolio and risk management, corporate finance, and trading. His expertise spans North America, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia, with hands-on experience in real estate, energy, infrastructure, and media services. Ian’s skills include capital raising, advisory, restructuring, and strategic development for sponsor-backed enterprises. He blends international insight with a deep understanding of the Canadian financial landscape, having worked with multinational entities, public sector agencies, and institutional investors.

CAMERON CHELL
For over 30 years, Cameron Chell has been a tech entrepreneur, turning high-potential ideas into groundbreaking companies. As a seasoned public company builder, he blends capital market expertise with a passion for product development. Cameron founded and led companies with notable exits, such as Draganfly, FutureLink, Urthecast, and Cold Bore. Cameron is fortunate to be a part of creating and building unique products, services, and companies. He works with fellow entrepreneurs, executives, and investors to determine what is most important and exactly how to get it done.

MERV MCLEOD
Merv, a Kashechewan First Nation member, is a principal at McLeod Wood Associates Inc, specializing in large-scale electricity and generation projects. Focused on First Nations equity partnerships, especially in remote northern areas, Merv’s portfolio with decades of experience includes hydro, wind, and solar projects, high voltage transmission, First Nation electricity distribution, regional businesses, and winter road operations. A skilled negotiator, he contributes to mineral development talks and indigenous policy development, notably for the Ontario government.

ERROL CHAPMAN
Errol Chapman, CFO with over 25 years’ experience, brings financial expertise to diverse companies. Holding an MBA, CPA, and a UK Fellowship in finance, Errol was also a finance professor in Canada. Leading Enterprise Canada’s finances for 17 years, he strengthened its financial position, crafted robust internal controls, and formulated financial strategy. Instrumental in share valuations and negotiations, Errol oversees financial statements and annual reporting. An active board member of Northern Horizons Partners, he’s a critical resource for various projects.

BARBARA FOX
Barbara Fox, CEO of Enterprise Canada, has led the company’s expansion into a prominent strategic communications and government relations firm in Canada. Renowned for her strategic thinking, Barbara excels in advising boards and senior leaders on complex issues. Recognized as one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100, she received the BMO Entrepreneurs award for successfully operating a thriving business. Barbara’s exceptional contributions to the field are highlighted by the Public Affairs Association of Canada’s Award of Distinction.

AL-NASHIR JAMAL
Sir Al-Nashir Jamal champions impactful public-private-community partnerships. Leading socio-economic projects in Western & Northern Canada, he initiated Canada’s first combined land claim and self-government agreement and developed the country’s inaugural 100% Aboriginal-owned hydro-power project. He facilitated resource benefits agreements in Canada’s diamond mining industry. Involved in cross-border infrastructure projects with UN, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank, he was knighted as Knight Commander of the Order of Civil Merit for his remarkable contributions.

JASON LIETAER
Jason excels in branding, crisis response, and strategic communications, leveraging his extensive experience in senior government roles and campaign war rooms. He adapts to evolving technology, incorporating influencer outreach, digital activations, and geo-targeting. As executive director of the Conservative Resource Group, reporting to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and with senior roles in federal and provincial offices, Jason has contributed to the Conservative caucus. A commentator in media outlets like CBC, CTV, Macleans, and The National Post, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
